The core function of the guide rail is to support and guide the moving parts, and to achieve precise displacement control by constraining the freedom of the moving parts (usually only retaining linear or curved motion in one direction). It consists of the guide rail body (fixed part) and the moving parts (such as sliders, slide seats, etc.), and the relative motion between the two is achieved through rolling bodies (balls, rollers) or sliding contact.

Features:
1. Guiding accuracy: the position accuracy of the moving parts when they move along the guide rail (such as straightness, parallelism).
2. Carrying capacity: the ability to withstand vertical and horizontal loads.
3. Wear resistance: the ability to maintain accuracy after long-term use, which is related to the material and lubrication method.
4. Friction coefficient: affects the smoothness of movement and energy consumption (the friction coefficient of rolling guides is much smaller than that of sliding guides).
5. Stiffness: the ability to resist deformation, which is crucial for high-precision equipment.
